RIP Sean Connery .

Man, can you believe it, SeanConnery, *the* SeanConnery, the one whose name would be uttered with such awe by both Ma and Baba as far back as any one of us can remember, is no longer with us? How did that happen?!

I'm pretty sure the first time we saw him was in #DarbyOGill, and I was like, man, he seems like fun. Then I think we must've seen him in Orient Express, I used to love those kinds of movies as a kid…and then, the *big* one, #IndianaJones! I mean, he was *perfect* no?, as Indy's dad, that smirk, that bluster, that swagger, that heart underneath it all…*perfect*. And, I began to understand, oh, right, SeanConnery!

Time for a true confession: before ye olde #DanielCraig came along, #RogerMoore was my favourite #Bond (and maybe, still is😬?). And then, *much* later, we finally watched Goldfinger (we weren't allowed as kids, and I actually listened!), and Dr. No, and From Russia, and…well…yeah, I finally understood.

The irony is that he never wanted to be only associated with #JamesBond, right?, and that's all we're talking about. But, dude there was *so* much more… Untouchables(yo! whatamovie!), Red October(yesss!), Name of the Rose(h/t: TBH, she actually read the book), Robin Hood, Time Bandits, The Rock(!!!!!! h/t: Krazy Krish!), and, what, he did 5 movies with the great Lumet(h/t: Doney)?, and what's with those cool-looking sci-fi movies (is Highlander scifi?!)?, is he wearing a mankini?!, King Arthur and Good Will Hunting 2(🤗), the Crichtons(*loved* MC!), even a #Hitchcock in there, and, wait, he did a Western?!, he, wait for it, played a *dragon*(of course he did!)?!…so many, many, many, more!

Look, in real life things are gonna get a bit, ahem, hairy(😇), so grab the blanket, the sofa, the tea, the biscuits, pop in one DVD after another and be swept away by that perfect combination of face-melting charisma and underrated acting ability, and leave all your worries behind.

"Well, I'm as human as the next man…"

No, Sir Sean, you were *the* man…RIP
